Long Story Short

Hi, I am Linda Bistere — a software engineer with a background in neuroscience and a passion for building real-life, user-focused applications.

During my research years of studying the brain, I discovered the joy of writing code by developing Matlab scripts to handle and analyze complex neural and behavioral data. The excitement for problem-solving and building with logic ultimately sparked my transition into software engineering.

I am especially drawn to backend development and building web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL. My current focus is on creating meaningful, well-tested software — like the task manager I built to explore user authentication, CRUD operations, and testing.

When I am not coding, you might find me walking animal shelter dogs (app idea in progress) or building a funny story generation tool just for fun.

I am actively seeking opportunities to grow further in a developer team and contribute to real-world products — and I am excited about what's next.
